Many industries use the flare tower to burn extra waste gas. If the turbine is in fault or overload, the gas will be burned by the flare tower in a special flame form. Like hydrogen flame, the naked eye cannot see the flame of the gas burning, but it is easy to be detected by the infrared thermal imager.
